Nature and Nurture Childcare

Nature and Nurture is a nature-based home childcare program for children ages 2-5 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.  Inspired by the award winning preschools of Reggio Emilia Italy, Nature and Nurture offers an enriching curriculum which focuses on exploring nature, the arts, and science, while encouraging cooperation and collaboration with others.  Our day consists of exploration of our science and art rich classroom,  collaborative projects, discoveries in our art studio, and ample time spent outdoors experiencing the natural world.  We are located on a quiet residential street, and our classroom looks out upon a large grassy meadow, beautiful cottonwood forest, and the soft babbling of Walton Creek.

Nature and Nurture Childcare was recently awarded a level 5 quality rating from the Colorado Department of Early Childhood.  This is the highest quality rating available, and Nature and Nurture Childcare is the only Childcare facility in Routt County to achieve a level 5 rating.
